Date & Time: Wednesday 19th June, 10-4pm, (you are welcome to stay longer on that day if you wish).
Whether you wish to paint a portrait of your favourite bird or butterfly, dragonfly or beetle, or a combination, Lynne will help you achieve this with detailed instruction. Starting with a limited palette of colours you will be shown how to layout your painting and mix colours to create a beautiful single portrait or world of flying creatures. Lynne will supply an array of photographs and specimens to work from, but if you have your own favourites you are most welcome to bring them along.
Cost of Full Day Course
£50 to include tea, coffee and homemade cakes. Please bring own picnic, which you are welcome to eat in the gardens, whenever you wish to take a break.

Biog. on Lynne Windsor
Born in Lincolnshire, where she now lives and works, Lynne Windsor divides her time between printmaking and oil painting.
She studied at Loughborough College of Art, obtained a BA Hons at Middlesex University and later qualified as a teacher of art.
She has lived/worked as artist in Santa Fe, New Mexico for 18 years where she also taught oil painting workshops. She continues to exhibit in Boston, Santa Fe and Texas. In 2009 Lynne returned to the UK for family reasons.
Exhibitions: Affordable Art Fair, the Blackheath Gallery, R.K. Burt Gallery, the Mall Galleries, London, Cambridge Contemporary, Cambridge, Open Eye Gallery, Edinburgh. The Society of Scottish Artists annual invitational in Edinburgh and The Royal West of England Academy Open Invitational, Bristol.
In 2014 she passed her MA in Printmaking with distinction at the Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, where she continues to supervise the print room. She has also been teaching printmaking workshops at the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology.
